Jonnie trained at Mountview in London where he quickly realised his heart lay with film and not the stage. He prides himself on taking awkward and controversial roles that others avoid, such as convicted sex-offender “Andy” in ITV’s hugely successful Bad Girls, anarchist turned Krishna in the feature Too Many Bullets and a terminal patient in denial in the feature The Confidential. Other work includes the award winning shorts My Yacht, shot during the Cannes Film Festival, Collapsed, and Heroine Girl. He also had a small role in the BBC classic Allo Allo.
As a screenwriter Jonnie wrote the feature Animals and has three others in development. He has two pastimes, travel and photography. He likes to collect countries and was once arrested in the Sahara desert at gunpoint.
