After having trained for 2 years with the renowned acting teacher Stella Adler in New York, Ralph went on to study classical acting at LAMDA for 1 year. Since then, he's been working with the high-profile fringe theatre company Naked Angels in New York. He was at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm, Sweden, for 2 years. during which time he played several different characters in various major productions.
Since his return to London in 2002 he has played lead roles in numerous theatre productions and films. He played opposite Nicholas Farrell and John Benfield in Third Wave, a feature film made in 2003. He played Pete Townsend in BBC's docu-drama on Princess Margaret in 2005. He also played Bodyguard/Citizen in Deborah Warner's production of Julius Caesar at the Barbican starring Joseph Fiennes and Simon Russell Beale in 2005. In 2006 he directed and starred in a new written play entitled Vendetta - based on the Victorian novel by Marie Corelli. A production which toured nationally. He is just about to start shooting a film where he plays Man Ray - the Dadaist and man who revolutionized art photography.
